There are two Basic forms of Kamishibai Theaters, Desk Top, and Bike mounted.
I have both and have developed a third, naturally I prefer the Bike mounted version the impact it creates when entering, whether school hall or Theatre is great. The original box contained all the ingredients for the "sweets" in drawers on the side. As I don't sell sweets ( I do carry a small amount for the two brothers story) I have eliminated these in my design. This enables me to carry more stories. and Props. I am at present trying to source a carpenter to make the box in a Flat pack version so that individuals can build and customize their own Box.

My Table top Box has been adapted to hang on my front, makes me look like a medieval Telly Tubby ! That is one of my many characters Proff. Screwtop he tells stories too mostly about Bicycles.
